The Korea Herald recently announced that Samsung has hired a new global design chief to head its arguably struggling design front that's in need of a little boost. In charge of that will be 47-year-old Lee Don Tae, who comes from London-based design firm Tangerine; home to Apple's current senior design vice president, Jonathan Ive.
